Traveling doesn’t count that way if you’re bringing a religious agenda. I won’t give you money for your mission trip. I won’t take that long list of countries you’ve seen seriously, knowing you went to spread the word of your god. You’re a tourist, not a traveler. You cannot truly experience a culture with the motive of altering it. That is the most disrespectful way to see the world.
